Sewing Machine For Wigs is Coming...
HOTDOT INTRODUCES SEWING MACHINE FOR WIG MAKING
Hotdot is fast becoming South Africa’s favourite online store for Human Brazilian Hair and we pride ourselves for we are the sole provider of the imported hair. We have also been analysing how the weaves we sell impact the lives of South African women and what is the ease of wearing the hair and maintaining it.
Most hairdressers will agree that putting together a standard wig using weaves will most definitely take time especially if one is sewing it manually. On average, it takes one hairdresser a full day to make only 4 wigs—at best 6 wigs without sufficient intervals. This makes the job of the hairdressers who make the wig far more tedious and time consuming. At the end of it all, the wig may show imperfections from hand work.
We saw a need to transform the industry and the skill of making the wig manually in order to improve productivity and bring in more money for hairdressers. Hotdot has discovered that making a wig using a sewing machine could make the job of hairdresser effortless and fast. Literally one can sew a wig in minutes, thereby creating chances to produce more and more. This will mean that the hairdresser can accept more business.
The machine will help remove the imperfections of a handmade wig, it will help secure the hair by stitching & back-stitching and the maker decides on the fullness of the wig. The wig comes out perfect and it can make as many as 60 wigs a day.
Hotdot truly wants to make changes in the hair and beauty industry by supplying premium products and services to South African market. And because we believe these efforts are geared towards skills transformation and job creation, we are happy to work with government institutions and hair & beauty training schools to train students on how to create wigs using the machine.
Hotdot is planning to Sell and Rental for various customer requires. The machine will be coming soon and we invite all the beauty & hair salons, independent hairdressers, schools, agencies to also give their input.
